General Notes: Husband - James Moorhead

His farm [in Indiana County, Pennsylvania,] was first settled by Francis Lockhard (or Lockhart) about 1810. It was on the Kittanning trail, one mile west of Greenville. The spring was an Indian watering place, as the trail deviated from its course to the spring. The tract was surveyed to Joseph Bisphan, April 11th, 1787.
