General Notes: Husband - James Geddes

---

He was a native of Scotland, and seemed to have lived for a time in Ireland, his youngest son, Samuel, having been born there. About 1752 he came with his wife and three sons to America, and settled permanently in what is now Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, where his death occurred at the age of sixty.
