General Notes: Husband - Frank Quay

He attended the public schools, leaving those in Edinboro, Pennsylvania, about 1880. During the first twenty years of his business career he was in the employ of the Sherwood Lumber Company, and after leaving this, engaged in the hotel business at Cambridge Springs, Crawford County. His political affiliation was with the Democratic party, in whose interests he was an active worker, and he was a member of the Methodist church. He was also a member of the order of Free and Accepted Masons.
