Allen Twp, Washington Co, PA

He engaged in farm-ing and stock raising, making a specialty of sheep. In politics he voted with the Republican party, and in religion he and his wife were members of the Disciple Church, in which he was an elder.
He settled many estates, and was guardian for twenty-one children and two lunatics.
