General Notes: Husband - William Stokes Turney


He received a good common school education and was made assistant freight agent at Greensburg, PA. Later he embarked in the produce and commission business at Greensburg. He voted the Democratic ticket. He was a school director in his borough for seventeen years. He served as deacon and elder in the First Reformed church of Greensburg, of which he was long a member.
