General Notes: Husband - Dr. John Boggs

Franklin Co, PA

He was the son of John and Jane (Irwin) Boggs. [BAFC, 143]

In 1814 he served in Capt. Andrew Robison's company for the defense of Baltimore, and was appointed assistant surgeon to Dr. John McClellan, surgeon of Col. Findlay's regiment.

He practised medicine in Greencastle, Pennsylvania, and was for many years an elder in the Presbyterian church of that place.
