General Notes: Husband - Abraham Showalter

He married and they settled on Walnut Creek, in Ohio. From there they moved to Daviess County, Indiana, in 1859, and in 1863 to Dekalb County. In 1864 they bought and cleared a farm in LaGrange County, on which they built a log house. From there they moved to Isabella County, Michigan, and took up a homestead which they cleared and sold in 1876. From there they then moved to Manistee County.
