General Notes: Husband - John Frederick

---

He settled in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, where, in 1794, he cultivated a farm and operated a still house on the pike at Carpenter's Old Stand. He then settled on a farm on Pucketty creek.

He removed from Franklin County, Pennsylvania, to Westmoreland County, and there conducted agricultural pursuits, and in addition operated a stillhouse on the pike at Carpenter's Old Stand, this being the custom among farmers of that early day. Later he settled on a farm on Pucketty creek, which he cultivated and improved, and from which he derived a comfortable livelihood.
