General Notes: Husband - William Bigham Ross

Towards the close of his life the house at "Tipperary" was again destroyed by a fire, which was far more destructive than the one of 1823. Many priceless heirlooms, consisting of old continental costumes, silver knee and shoe buckles, a great store of valuable linens, pewter, several sets of china, one from the Wedgwood kilns, old mahogany furniture, silverware, household goods, and many valuable county and family papers. In the following year another house was built on the old foundations of 1788.
