General Notes: Husband - William Frampton


He served in the "Cumberland county militia" in the Revolution War, in the years 1780, 1781, 1782 (see 5th series Penna. Archives, vol vi, page 565; see name "Frampton" in index to 5th series; see also 3rd series).

After the removal of his son John from Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, their home for years, he followed in 1814, settling in Monroe township, Clarion County, with his daughters. He bought one thousand acres of land which he divided among his children.


General Notes: Wife - Sarah Staley


She may have been a daughter of Jacob Staley, a revolutionary soldier, who died in Clarion County, Pennsylvania, 1829.
