General Notes: Husband - Samuel A. McClure


He was educated in the public schools of Versailles township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and upon the completion of his studies assisted his father in the cultivation of the farm. He purchased a farm about 1893, consisting of one hundred and twenty-six acres. He raised general market produce, and set out a young orchard. He gave his political support to the Republican party, and was a devout member of the Presbyterian church.
