General Notes: Husband - Alfred Forbes

He was a native of New York State, and came with his family to Corydon, Warren County, Pennsylvania, in March, 1832. He went to Iowa in 1843, taking all of the family, with the exception of Jarvis L. He was a practicing physician and surgeon during his residence at Corydon.
