General Notes: Husband - Joseph Hart


He succeeded to the ancestral homestead in Warminster, Pennsylvania, and died in the old family mansion and was buried at Southampton. During the Whiskey Insurrection of 1794, he was paymaster of Col. Hanna's brigade. He was a member of the State Senate in 1804 and for several years thereafter, and in the session of 1808 introduced the bill for removing the county seat of Bucks from Newtown to Doylestown.
