General Notes: Husband - George Scheidemantle, Sr.


He was twelve years of age when his parents settled in Lancaster township, Butler County, Pennsylvania. He was reared beneath the parental roof, and worked on the homestead farm until his marriage. Soon after his marriage he purchased a farm in Muddy Creek township, on which he resided some three years, and then removed to a farm in Lancaster township, where he died. He was a member of the German Reformed church, and an elder in that body for many years. In politics, he was a Democrat.
