General Notes: Husband - David Flickinger

He moved to his farm in 1862, 158 acres of land, the same year he married.

He became one of the leading and successful farmers of Path Valley, and at the time of his death owned 160 acres of splendidly improved land, on which his widow continued to live.
He was always interested in questions of public moment, but was no politician, although he regularly upheld the Republican ideas. In church matters he was a Presbyterian.
