General Notes: Husband - Jonas Flick

He remained on his father's farm until twenty-three years of age, and then began to engage in agricultural pursuits on his own account, operating different farms in Clarion County, Pennsylvania, until he had saved enough to purchase a place of his own. It was in 1872 that he bought a farm of 140 acres of rich and arable land in Toby township, and to its cultivation and improvement he devoted his energies. In his political affiliation he was a Democrat, and in his social relations he was an Odd Fellow. Both he and his wife were consistent members of the German Reformed Church, and he served as elder for some years.
