General Notes: Husband - Harry Edward Fisher

Born on his father's farm about eight miles southeast of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, he was reared to manhood in the wholesome environment of rural life. For his education he attended the public schools of his native township, and in the intervals was occupied either in carrying on the lighter work of the farm or in the healthful pastimes of the country boy. It was in the year 1888 that he came to United, and there opened a general store, where he continued his business consistently for nearly thirty years and with a very high degree of success.
In company with his brother, A. H. Fisher, he owned and operated a farm of one hundred and thirty acres, a part of which was included in the old Fisher homestead, and in this enterprise they met with a high degree of success as well.
