West Elizabeth, Allegheny Co, PA

He received his early education in the schools of Allegheny and Washington counties, Pennsylvania, and his medical education at the Cleveland (Ohio) Medical School, from which he graduated in 1862. He began the practice of his profession in West Elizabeth, Allegheny County, in 1863. He also served postmaster, assisted by his daughter, Mabel.
