General Notes: Husband - William J. Munce

He was educated in the common schools and was engaged in farming on the family homestead farm all his life. The Munce farm lay in both North and South Strabane Townships, and at one time the residence was located in the latter township, but in 1872 another home was erected a short distance over the line in North Strabane Township. In connection with his farming interests, Mr. Munce made a specialty of breeding Ayershire cattle and English shire horses, and was a member of the Ayershire Cattle Breeders' Association.
