General Notes: Husband - John Neel

He and his wife came from the North of Ireland to the Province of Pennsylvania, settling in Lancaster County. They were both members of the Presbyterian church and in their new home connected with a church of that faith. He was a farmer, owning the acres he cultivated, with the aid of his sons, most of whom later crossed the mountains into western Pennsylvania.
