General Notes: Husband - John Ferree Foster


He was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where his early life was spent. When a young man in Lancaster County he followed the trade of wagonmaker, but later removed to Fayette County and spent the remainder of his life as a farmer. He was a Democrat in politics, and a member of the Presbyterian church.
