General Notes: Husband - Peter Sanders

---

An early settler of Clarion County, PA, he and his wife were faithful members of the Reformed Church, while in politics he was a Democrat, and a farmer by occu­pation.

He and his wife were both born in Germany about 1825. They first settled in Reading, Pennsylvania, but soon after came to Salem township, Clarion County, cleared a farm, and later moved to Ashland township, where both died about 1865, aged seventy-two and seventy-three years respectively.
