General Notes: Husband - Abraham Walter


After beginning life for himself his first purchase of land was in what is now Snyder County, Pennsylvania, then, in 1846, he bought a farm one mile south of Mifflinburg, in Limestone township. He was an agriculturist throughout his lifetime. He had a mechanical mind, and was quite a good blacksmith.
