Kathleen E. Morrison, 53, of Red Coach Trail, Ballston Spa, N.Y. Formerly of Van, died Thursday, Aug 5, 2004, at her home following a long illness. Born July 21, 1951, in Oil City, she was the daughter of Clair Exley Sr. and Katherine Wellsby Exley. Mrs Morrison was a 1969 graduate of Cranberry High School. She received her licensed practical license from the Oil City Hospital and worked for several years as an LPN.
Mrs. Morrison was married Sept. 4, 1971 to former Oil City resident William A. Morrison, who survives. Also surviving are two children, Joshua Morrison and wife, Tracey of Ballston Spa, N.Y., and Crystal Kasdin and husband Chad of Chicago, Ill.; and three grandsons Nathan, Nicholas and A. J. Morrison.
She also is survived by her parents, Clair and Katherine Exley, Rockland; four brothers and their wives, Clair Jr. and Marilyn Exley William and Linda Exley and Mark and Bonnie, all of Rockland. And Gregory and Claire of Queensland, Australia; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, in the Abundant Life Church, Saratoga Springs, N.Y. There also will be memorial service at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Rockland United Methodist Church.
