General Notes: Husband - Olen Jay Stevenson

He obtained his education in the academy, and later attended Baltimore Medical College, whence he was graduated in 1906. For five years after obtaining his degree he engaged in active practice at New Brighton and Woodlawn, Pennsylvania, in 1911 purchasing a farm of one hundred and eighty-three acres in Brighton township, Beaver County, adjoining his father's, and the following year moved his residence to that place. He conducted general farming operations, and also raised a great deal of fine stock, of which he was an excellent judge. He was a Republican in politics; the only official position he ever held was at Woodlawn, where he was physician to the poor. His fraternal connection was with the Masonic order, in which he held the Knights Templar degree, belonging to Beaver Commandery, No. 457.
