General Notes: Husband - David Weaver

He was born in North Strabane township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and received his education in the subscription schools. He married and in 1856 they moved to a home in Peters township.
This place contained ninety-three acres of good land, and Mr. Weaver conducted an extensive dairy business. He also kept about fifty hives of bees, which brought a good profit. In politics he was a "true-blue" Democrat, and served in many township offices. In religious faith he was a member and liberal supporter of the United Presbyterian Church at Canonsburg.
