General Notes: Husband - Michael Gephart


He was born near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and accompanied his parents to Union County in 1809. In 1826 he came from Union County, to the area that is now the village of Millheim, Penn township, Centre County, locating on what became known as the Gephart homestead. He was a thorough and skillful farmer, a man of marked business tact, and a prominent citizen of the community. His ancestors served in the Revolutionary war.

Only two of his children lived to mature age.
