General Notes: Husband - Robert Elliott

He came to Venango County, Pennsylvania, from the eastern part of the state, presumably the vicinity of Carlisle, Cumberland County. After living in and around Franklin several years he settled at the mouth of Hemlock creek, in President Township, built the first mill in that part of the county, and also carried on farming, his principal occupation through life. He was a leading resident of that section for many years. The remainder of his days was spent there, and he and his wife, with several other members of their family, are buried in a small inclosed graveyard in the village of President. [CAB, 899]
They were members of that branch of the Presbyterian church known as Seceders.

General Notes: Wife - Rebecca Fleming

She was of Scotch-Irish parentage.
