General Notes: Husband - John Pollock

In boyhood he attended the subscription schools of his time, which was the extent of his educational advantages, but being possessed with considerable natural ability he was enabled to meet the demands of life with a marked degree of success. When a young man he went to Logan County, Ohio, where he took up land.
He was a presbyterian and was elected a member of Session in the Huntsville Congregation during the pastorate of his brother-in-law, Rev. James Wallace.
