General Notes: Husband - Josiah R. Eisaman


He received his education in the public schools and in Greensburg Academy. After leaving school, he found his first employment as messenger for the American Union Telegraph Company, and after a short time there, became a messenger for the Western Union. In 1881, the date of its founding, he entered the employ of the First National Bank of Greensburg as a clerk, and from that date was connected with this bank. He became assistant cashier in 1887, cashier in 1888 and the following year cashier and director; and since 1902 held the position of vice-president. Mr. Eisaman was a Democrat and a member of the Second Reformed Church. He was affiliated with the Free and Accepted Masons and a life-member in all bodies except the Consistory, and also held membership in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Among his clubs were the Greensburg Country Club, Hannahstown Country Club, Greensburg Polo Club and Greensburg Elks Club.
