General Notes: Husband - Joseph Eisaman

He was born on the home farm and remained thereon until after his twenty-fourth year. Then, having previously learned the stone mason and brick layer's trade, and marrying, removed to near New Stanton where he remained four years and farmed. He then sold out his farm and removed to Irwin, where he thereafter followed his trade, residing in the same home on Oak street for more than twenty-three years. For a number of years he was a prominent member in the Reformed church, in which he was an elder of thirty years standing, and he also served as deacon and trustee. He was the delegate in May, 1905, to the general synod of the Reformed church, at Allentown, Pennsylvania, the convention of the highest dignitaries of the church in the state. He was a Democrat in politics.
