General Notes: Husband - Jonathan Ealy

From the end of his school days, he was engaged continuously in farming and prospered in this industry. Soon after his marriage he settled on what was known as the old home farm situated two miles from East Finley, Washington County, Pennsylvania, on which he resided for fifteen years. He then moved to a place on Gordon's Fork of Wheeling Creek, one mile below the old home place.
Mr. Ealy attended the United Brethren Church at Fairmount. He was a Democrat in politics and while not ambitious to hold office, he did serve as election judge.

He and his wife had seven children; five of these died young.
