General Notes: Husband - William A. Eakin

He was born in the family residence, erected two years before his birth. His education was acquired in the local schools, and he was well trained at home to meet the practical responsibilities of life, as his prosperity in all his undertakings would indicate. That part of the old home place containing the homestead fell to his lot, and he cared for the property thriftily, keeping up the family name for well directed industry. [HVC 1919, 911]
