General Notes: Husband - Silas Yerkes


He and his wife were of Welsh descent, and Baptists in religion, whose ancestors arrived at an early period from Holland, whither they had fled from their fatherland on account of religious persecution. They settled in that part of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, long called "North Wales."
