General Notes: Husband - W. Wilson Dunlap

He began his business career as a farmer in Brady township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, then moved to Union township, and continued farming for twenty-six years; but after his army service, he was compelled to lay aside business cares, and made his home in Rockton for some years. On October 16, 1862, he enlisted and was at once sent to Harrisburg, where he remained for three months, after which he did garrison duty at Fort Yorktown some five months. Subsequently he participated in the battles of Gettysburg and the Wilderness, and later was sent to Washington Junction, thence back to the city of Washington. In Harrisburg, he was mustered out August 28, 1863, and returned home with his health so shattered that he has been unable to perform any labor. He drew a pension of $30 per month.

He married and they continued to live for two years, and then removed to Bloomington. After three years passed at that place they returned to Luthersburg, where they spent eleven years, and then made their home in Union township, their residence being located near Rockton.
