General Notes: Husband - James H. Gray


He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and educated in the public schools, including the high schools, and then turned his attention to the study of law. He was admitted to the Allegheny county bar in 1895. On account of ill health he went to Colorado, where he spent three years, and while there was admitted to practice in the Colorado courts. He subsequently returned to Pittsburgh, in 1898, after which he was engaged in the practice of his profession, mostly civil cases. Politically he was a Republican.
