Spanish-American War: he enlisted in Company G, Fifteenth Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, on the 7th of May, 1898, binding himself for a term of two years, or during the war. He received his honorable discharge at Athens, Georgia, January 31, 1899.
