General Notes: Husband - Sample C. Duncan

He was reared on the home farm, which his father had settled on a few years before his birth, and was educated in the public schools of that vicinity. He was always engaged in farming on this place and had sixty-one acres of highly improved land, all under cultivation. He raised corn, oats, wheat, hay and potatoes, and also met with success in stock raising. He kept thorough-bred Berkshire hogs, all of which are eligible for registration.
