General Notes: Husband - William James Duff

He and his sisters attended the Hartshorne district school, whence they went to the Academy at Darlington, and were graduated from this institution. In 1913 he had a fine brick residence erected on the homestead, in which he and his sister, Mary J., lived. His life was spent on the homestead, which was owned jointly by his sister and himself, neither of them being married. They were members of the United Presbyterian Church at Darlington. He gave his political support to the Republican party.
