General Notes: Husband - Samuel Duff


He was educated in the public schools of Beulah. In early manhood he became a tanner, later a mason; he made a trip to Philadelphia and New York with a drove of horses, returning by way of canal. He also went down the Mississippi river on coal boats. Politically he was a Democrat, and a member of the United Presbyterian church.
