General Notes: Husband - Oswald Dubbs

He came to Brush valley, Centre County, Pennsylvania, about the year 1805 or 1806. His father had purchased from Miles in 1797 the tract which later formed George Brungart's and Daniel Walker's farms at the east end of Brush valley, and erected a mill about the year 1808, on the site where Walker's mill was later located. Oswald Dubbs took charge of this property, and became joint owner with his brother George subsequently. Their father never became a citizen of Miles township. Oswald later moved to Sugar valley.
