General Notes: Husband - Oliver D. Thompson


His literary studies were perfected at Andover, MA, Academy and Yale College. Graduating from this latter institution in June, 1879, he read law with his father and was admitted to practice in June, 1880. [HBC 1883, 75]

He was educated in the common schools of Butler, Witherspoon Institute, Phillips Academy at Andover, MA, and at Yale College, graduating at the latter institution in 1879. In November following his admission to the Butler bar he was admitted to the Pittsburg bar. He was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Pennsyl­vania in 1883 and to the United States Court in 1893. [HBC 1909, 258]
