General Notes: Husband - Isaac Wheelock

He was reared a farmer, an occupation he followed most of his life. He gave some attention in 1869 and 1870 to the oil business. In 1871 he moved onto his land in Steuben Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania; he had eighty-two and a half acres of land, half of which was improved by his own individual efforts. He built a good residence in 1883; he owned good Durham cattle. Mr. Wheelock served for a short time in the war of the Rebellion.
