General Notes: Husband - Charles Doyle


His father was for many years a resident of Allegany County, New York, and was the first postmaster of Painted Post, New York.

He was a carpenter by trade and one of the early settlers of Street's Run, or what later became Hays Borough, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, where he was engaged in the manufacturing of barrels and kegs. He was also a millwright, and built water-wheels, mill machinery, cider presses and other articles needed by the pioneers.
He was a soldier in the War of 1812, and had a family of eight children.
