After marriage, he and his wife lived in Titusville, PA, for a while and the first 3 children were born there. "Pete" and family moved to Michigan where he worked in oil fields and later worked in the auto industry. He also worked as a deputy sheriff and an outpost guard at Tri-City Airport. He also was in the Coast Guard Auxiliary 1941 to 1945. He retired in 1955.
