General Notes: Husband - John Yoho

Four brothers of the name of Yoho came together to America at an early day, and three of these settled in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and one settled in Virginia.

He was born in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and was a son of an old Indian fighter, who, with his two brothers, assisted in exterminating the natives in that section. [TCHNCLC, 654]

He was born in Germany and came to America at an early date, locating on a farm near the present site of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. He cleared a farm there, then moved to what later became the Sword farm near West Pittsburgh, which he also cleared. He later lived in New Castle many years, and spent the latter years of his life in Chewton, Wayne Township, Lawrence County, where both he and his widow died. [TCHNCLC, 580]
